Funding and/or Partnership Request
Operation Our Town accepts
donations from businesses, civic groups, charitable organizations
and individuals. Donations are used to fund programs proven
to reduce both the supply and demand for illegal drugs.
Funds are distributed to
qualified organizations by way of two grant cycles each year.
All nonprofit organizations, schools and government agencies in
the communities of Blair and adjoining counties are eligible for
grant consideration.
Operation Our Town awards
$75,000 during each grant cycle to support efforts proven to
reduce the supply and demand for illegal drugs. These
efforts include:
- Targeted law enforcement and prosecution
- Proven treatment programs focused on reducing
recidivism
(repeat offences)
- Proven education aimed at prevention of drug
use.

Upcoming Grant Deadlines:
Please note that Operation Our Town will have only one grant cycle
in 2012. We will begin accepting grant applications on May 14,
with a June 29 deadline for applications. A total of up to $80,000
will be available during this grant cycle for proven prevention
and treatment programs. All nonprofit organizations, schools, and
government agencies are eligible.
